The Fiber: Sculpture 1960–present exhibition examines the development of abstraction in soft sculptures, initiated in the 1960s by textile-art pioneers such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Sheila Hicks, Lenore Tawney and Claire Zeisler, and further explored today by contemporary artists such as Ernesto Neto, Anne Wilson and Haegue Yang.
